Furleigh Estate New Grand Tour & Wine Tasting in Bristol to Celebrate English Wine Week

Furleigh Estate is celebrating English Wine Week (May 23 – May 31) with a new Grand Tour and wine tasting in Bristol.

The wine tasting is due to take place on Thursday May 28 at Bordeaux Quay in Bristol, led by Rebecca Hansford, owner of multi-award winning Furleigh Estate in Dorset, which will showcase its 2014 vintage release.

The complimentary trade tasting takes place on May 28 from 1-4pm. This will be followed by a wine tasting for the general public from 5-9pm, costing just £10 per person, or £55 for those who choose to stay for a Winemaker Dinner at 7pm.

Situated within 85 acres of rolling countryside in Salway Ash, West Dorset, Furleigh Estate is owned and managed by husband and wife team, Rebecca Hansford and Ian Edwards.

Furleigh Estate celebrates its 10th birthday this year and is now open for the season. Tours and tastings are available every Friday and Saturday at 2.30pm and every day during English Wine Week from 11-5pm.

Furleigh Estate will also launch its first Grand Tour during English Wine Week, on the morning of Friday May 29. This special monthly tour will include a glass of Furleigh Estate sparkling wine on arrival and a personal tour of the vineyard and winery by Rebecca Hansford.

The weekly wine tours cost £10 per person and the monthly Grand Tour costs £20 per person.
