Napa Valley is one of the most famous wine regions, with more than 450 wineries. Some big-name Champagne labels have set up shop in this beautiful area, including Chandon and Mumm. Most sparkling wineries are located in northern California, so this is a good place to visit.

You can rent a car and drive through the stunning landscape, visiting as many wineries as you can, tasting all kinds of great bubbly or for those that love hiking or cycling, there are great trails through the wine country.
