Congratulations to Exton Park Vineyard with their Blanc de Noirs NV which received a silver medal at The World’s Finest Glass of Bubbly awards 2017.

A panel of 36 top industry wine judges tasted all the entries for 2017 and were able to not only scores wines with medals, but also place them in to easy to understand categories such as Summer Days: “Does not have to be a highly complicated wine. Will offer a light, fruity and easy going taste.

This consistent quality NV wine, created especially for Exton Park by Head Winemaker Corinne Seely, is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, of which approximately 15 % are from young vines and the rest from the more mature vines of earlier plantings. It is a wine for sharing with friends, with rich rounded fruit – delicious with nuts as an aperitif or with fresh or smoked trout or even Japanese Sushi.

‘The colour is reminiscent of the pale golden wheat moving in the wind during the summer. The nose is open, with a slight note of brioche and a touch of lime tree flowers, while the wine is round and generous in the mouth.  The long finish is delicately spicy with a hint of nutmeg’ Corinne Seely
