An eager and well educated by the master himself, Vincent Chaperon, will take over from Richard Geoffroy as cellar master for the Champagne house Dom Pérignon from January 1st 2019. Richard Geoffroy has enjoyed a world celebrity status in the business of fine Champagne and a respected face for many, I have enjoyed a few dedicated tastings in the past with him including vertical tastings at the famous location of The Abbey of Hautvillers.

Vincent has worked alongside Richard for 13 harvests in total with four vintages released during this time period – Richard has been Dom Pérignon’s chef de cave since 1990.
