'The Who' Launch Limited Edition Champagne for 50th Anniversary

Roger Daltrey, founder and lead singer of legendary British rock band The Who, will release a Champagne in honour of the bands 50th anniversary.

The Limited edition Champagne Cuvée Roger Daltrey is being produced by Champagne house Charles Orban, located in the village of Troissy in the Marne Valley and produced using a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.

The bottle is designed with the iconic bullseye logo associated with the group, as well as Daltrey’s signature. It will be released on June 18th priced at £95 a bottle.

Some of the proceeds from the sales will go to Teen Cancer America, a charity co-founded by Roger Daltrey along with band mate and lead guitarist/songwriter, Pete Townsend.

There will also be matching ice buckets made by jewellers L’Orfèvrerie d’Anjou, costing £650 and available in 10 different colours with each one individually numbered.
