Still not tried English Sparkling Wine?

We want to cheer on home-grown bubbly and we hope that the rest of the country continues to get behind the industry too. Sales are indeed growing, they are winning awards left and right and the quality is continuously increasing –  so why not give it a try?

The price may seem a little higher compared to Prosecco for example, but it reflects the traditional production methods and high quality of the wine, which many consider to be on par with (or even better than) Champagne.

Here are a few great bottles to start with that you can easily pick up in a local shop. Most major supermarkets have some English sparkling wines available, but Waitrose, in particular, has a good selection. Even better, visit your local wine merchant or shop online.
