In celebration of the sparkling history of the famous music group The Who, Roger Daltrey has gotten himself involved in some fine Champagne and all in a great cause with profits going to his co-founded charity Teen Cancer America.

The vintage Champagne with a striking limited edition design (The Who’s bullseye logo) will cost £95 a bottle and is produced by the Champagne makers Charles Orban.

The evening event in Mayfair London was also a celebration of The Who’s 50th birthday and the subsequent tour they are doing. The limited edition cuveé is called ‘Cuveé Roger Daltrey’ also carried Roger’s signature as part of its design. People on the evening were treated to a tasting and were able to purchase these limited edition bottles along with some lucky few getting Roger to sign their bottles too.

Daltrey, 72, said: “I took my inspiration for the bottle from the Tommy album cover which is a favourite of mine.” & “The album that cemented our legacy. I can’t wait for everyone to try it.”
