Rathfinny Sussex Sparkling Wine gets a Rebrand

29th April 2016

Rathfinny is a 600-acre wine estate in the South Downs which is set to become one of the biggest vineyards in the UK.

With its rapid expansion and imminent release of its first vintage sparkling wine in 2018, the estate decided it needed a fresh look so they turned to iconic design house Pentagram, the largest independent design consultancy in the world.

A few other notable works from Pentagram include: The Savoy, Windows, Berry Bros & Rudd wines, Tiffany & Co, the V&A Museum, and many more well-known identities.

Designed by John Rushworth and his team, the new identity reflects the Sussex origin and puts the region on par with Champagne. The strong logo features a red shield which infers the Sussex coat of arms, using six grapes instead of six martlets.

Rathfinny’s new look will hopefully go on to be a recognisable icon in the sparkling wine world.
